Frans de Vilder

 

Frans de Vilder has over 25 years of experience in telecommunications and 8 years in digital television. In the last years he was at the top positions in Mediakabel and Digitenne companies, leaders in DTV implementation in Netherlands. Moreover, in Mediakabel he was in charge of DVB-C implementation, that had a goal to supply the digital tv services (such as video on-demand) )to cable operators.  In 2002 he started to cope with Digitenne, where he was in charge of DVB-T network rollout (central platform and transmitter zones) in the central part of Netherlands.

In 2007 he leads his own company Appreciate that does consulting and project management services.

Graduated from Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, department of law. Layer, candidate of economic sciences, associate professor of audit department in Kyiv National University of Trade and Economics. Manages work of Department of Legislative Initiatives, conducts legislation monitoring in the sphere of TV radio broadcasting, cooperates with bodies of state power, branch associations and the audience, organizes events aimed to promote field's interest regarding normative regulation of TV radio broadcasting.


Andreas Grunwald

 

 

Andreas is a partner in the Berlin office of the international law firm Hogan & Hartson L.L.P. His practice focuses on the media and communications industries, with a special emphasis on digitalization matters. In a book published already in 2001, "Analoger Switch-Off", Andreas compared the German and the U.S. approach towards the analog/digital switch-over. Later, he served as counsel to the Berlin media authority (MABB) on the regulatory framework for the analog switch-off in the Berlin/Brandenberg area, the first region in the world with an all digital terrestrial television network. Andreas also teaches broadcasting law at the University of Münster, Germany, and publishes frequently on media law and policy issues.

Valentyn was born in 1962. In 1986 he obtained a diploma of State Musical Pedagogical Institute named after Gnessins in Musicology (Operatic drama) . Valentyn has been in the industry since 1985. In 2005 he was awarded with "Teletriumph" as a TV producer. 

Olexandr Lyakhov

 

Was born on 16 .06. 1954 in Smolensk, Russia.

 

Education: 1976, Radiocommunication and broadcasting dept in Electrotechnic communication institute of Odessa O.S. Popova.
Candidate of Science (theory of information, systems of its transportation, 1983), Associate Professor (RPP, 1985).

 

Working Background:
1976-1982 - engineer, junior scientific worker, manager of a laboratory for Satellite communication systems.

1982-1988 - teaching activities

1988-1995 - dean of a department of Radiocommunication in Electrotechnic communication institute of Odessa O.S. Popova

1995-1999 - Associate Head of National Council of Ukraine

1999-2006 - President of a cable unioon of Ukraine

2006-2008 - the advisor of the president of «Volia»

2008- President of an Association «Telecommunications Chamber of Ukraine», Head of Department of technology in «Ukrradiopressinstitute».


Kateryna Myasnikova

 

Executive Director of the biggest industry union of electronic media - Independent Association of Broadcasters (IAB)

 

Graduated from law dept of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. For 9 years Kateryna has been working in tv and radio broadcasting. In 2001 she started her career in IAB from a law-cosultant position, and became an Executive Director in 2003. She is a famous specialist in law regulations in broadcasting area.


Olga Rosmanova

13 years of experience in marketing research. Olga is managing the tv panel since 2003.

 

 

Onno Zonneveld

 

Onno was born in Haarlem, The Netherlands in 1969 and graduated from the University of Amsterdam in Central and Eastern European Studies. He started his career in 1992 as a journalist in the Moscow news bureau of the Dutch broadcaster RTL4, covering the October 1993 events and the Chechen war. Onno left journalism in 1997 to join CME as Ukraine country manager and subsequently became appointed Deputy General Director for Business Development at 1+1. He started to work at ICTV in 2000. While working as Deputy General Director he relaunched the Ukrainian channel ICTV and put it firmly on the road to profitability.

 

Onno returned to Russia in 2001 and joined MTV Russia as a consultant for network development focusing on the purchase of regional channels. Onno subsequently left Russia for London to work for MTG as Director of Development for Ukraine and the Balkans. In 2005 he left MTG to return to Kiev and launch channel K1 as Deputy General Director. After this he was appointed General Director of Kino TV and CITI TV.

 

From 1 September 2009 he joined SES SIRIUS AB in Kiev Market Development Manager CEE.

 


Oleg Sobolev

Graduated from Kharkiv state university of radioelectronics in 1994. He was working in PR dept in "Kvazar-Micro", press attache of the Head of Entrepreneurs Council in Cabinet of Ministers of Ukriane, the chief editor of «Computerworld/Ukraine», «Hi-tech Panorama», Next, Itware.

 

In 2005 he is the issuer of the industry magazine "Reviewer Wireless Ukraine". Since 2003 he has taken the position of the Executive Director in Association of wireless market participants - Wireless Ukraine.

Volodymyr Yavorsky
Executive Director of Ukrainian Helsinki union of human rights (http://www.helsinki.org.ua), the association that unites 23 Ukrainian human rights organizations.

 

Graduated from Law Dept of Lviv National university of Ivan Franko. Soon after he studied and had internships in UK, Germany, Denmark and Poland. Volodymyr is a member of Civil Council in Ministry of  Internal Affairs of Ukraine and member of of Civil Expert Council in Ukrainian part of Committee for Collaboration between Ukraine and EU. He's the co-author of the annual Report of human rights organizations "Human Rightsin Ukraine" from 2004 to 2008 and many other publications about human rights.

Daniel holds a Master degree from King's College London.

Daniel's knowledge lies within Pay-TV industry working across multiple platforms: PC, Set-top-Box, Mobile & converged/hybrid platforms.

Prior to joining Irdeto, Daniel worked in Entriq and was responsible for the business development in Russian, Central & Eastern European regions. In this position Mr.Tarasov has built strong relationships with major media groups, content producers and content distributors in the region.

Another Daniel's expertise is online strategy consulting. Working closely with customers: BSkyB, UEFA, British Telecom, Disney (ESPN), Channel Five UK, UFC, Infront, Daniel has introduced and supervised the implementation of new online business models for content distribution.

Tetyana Lebedeva

She's been working in broadcasting since 1995. Tetyana has been studying Media management in Media College in National Council of Ukraine and in Cardiff University of United Kingdom. In 2003 she is the member of National Council for radio and television.

Jonathan Collegio

 

Jonathan Collegio is vice president, strategic initiatives for the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) in Washington, DC. In this role, Collegio coordinated the broadcast television industry's multiplatform campaign to educate consumers about the transition to digital television broadcasting. America's television broadcasting industry pledged more than $1.1 billion to this aggressive nationwide campaign, which involved advertising, marketing, new media, grassroots initiatives, survey research, media relations and government relations. Collegio also managed the DTV Transition Coalition - a voluntary coalition of more than 240 businesses and organizations dedicated to a smooth transition to digital television. In this role, Collegio was called "the Karl Rove of digital television" by The Politico newspaper in Washington, DC. 

 

Ivan OMELYANYUK, Ph.D.

  • In 1971 graduated with honors from National Technical University of Ukraine as radio engineer;
  • 1971-1975 - postgraduate study at National Technical University of Ukraine. Earning of Ph.D. degree; 1975-1992 - head of Scientific and Research Department of Scientific Institute;
  • 1992-present - founder and General Director (CEO) of Kvant-Efir Ltd., the first company in Ukraine to develop and manufacture solid-state TV and radio transmitting equipment;
  • 2002-2004 - headed the deployment of a pilot DVB-T project in Kyiv;
  • Takes part in the preparation of new legislative acts in the sphere of broadcasting and communications as a free-lance consultant of the Ukrainian Parliament;
  • 2005-2007 Founder and President of the Ukrainian Digital TV Network, JSC, a DTT network operator in Ukraine;
  • 2009-present - member of the DigiTag Steering Board (Digital Terrestrial Television Action Group);
  • 2006 - was awarded an IBC-2006 Conference Award for the best Technical Papers.
  • 2009 - an author of the book "DTT television. Practice, New Tendencies of DTT Development and Creation of DVB-T networks".

 

Andriy Myroshnychenko

Was born on March, 10, 1969 in town Lviv. 

In 1991 graduated from the Lviv state university the name of I.Franka and got an economist qualification. Being a student he began to work on position of examiner-in-chief on economic questions, and in 1992 was assigned to the position of financial director of the Brokerage firm "Galychina securities". From 1998th for 2000 was a financial expert, vice-chairman Center of development of the Ukrainian legislation. In 2000 he was asigned to the position of financial director of the Company limited liability LTD. "PR-company "Praym-period". From 2001th for 2003 was a head of public organization of "Bureau of the political consulting of "PENTA". From 2003th for 2005 "Ukraine heads the International fund 3000".

 


In accordance with Decree of President of Ukraine from April, 03, 2005 ¹ 594/2005 MiroshnichenkO A.a. is appointed on position of member of National advice of Ukraine on questions television and broadcast.
