Digital Television (DTT) - is a new kind of broadcasting. Transmitting information about sound and picture and bytes, digital broadcaster can transmit even more information than it's possible with the analog technology.

Transition of Ukraine from analog to digital was appointed and fixed by international agreement signed in 2006 in Geneve. Despite of all Ukrainian TV stations broadcasting in analog, they broadcast in digital within the test in Kiev and Odessa. In 2015 all TV channels will be in digital only.
